Victor Ikechukwu Patrick, popularly known as VIP, is a Political Scientist, public administrator, media strategist, and community leader. He is a graduate of Political Science Education from Delta State University, Abraka, where he obtained a B.Sc. (Ed.) in Political Science Education. He further earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Political Science, specializing in Local Government Administration, in Port Harcourt.
Victor has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities throughout his academic and professional career. During his undergraduate years, he was actively involved in student politics and was elected Senator representing his Faculty in the 25th Students’ Union Government (SUG) Assembly of Delta State University.
During his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp in Ekiti State, he was elected Platoon Leader, reflecting his ability to inspire and coordinate people effectively. While pursuing his postgraduate studies, he was also elected Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Postgraduate Hostel, where he contributed to maintaining discipline and promoting a conducive learning environment.
In recognition of his dedication to public service, he was appointed as a Member of the Delta State Waterways and Land Security Committee by the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
In 2024, Victor was appointed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo State Campaign Committee as a Member of the New Media Team, where he played a role in political communication and digital engagement during the campaign period.
In 2025, he was nominated to coordinate Soft Nigeria, a renowned socio-political pressure group, serving as the Coordinator for Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency. Through this role, he has continued to champion grassroots mobilization, civic engagement, and community development initiatives.
Through his academic accomplishments, leadership experience, political engagements, and commitment to public service, Victor Ikechukwu Patrick has established himself as a passionate advocate for good governance, youth empowerment, community development, and national progress.
